Aaron Taylor-Johnson couldn’t stop laughing while watching “Bullet Train.”
The 32-year-old star appears in the action film – which follows a group of assassins who find themselves on a high-speed train in Japan – as Tangerine and praised co-star Brad Pitt’s comedic abilities then that he brings elements of humor to the film.
Speaking at the CineEurope conference in Barcelona, Aaron said: “I watched (the film) last week and literally laughed so hard that I almost pissed on my seat a bit. But honestly, this is the summer movie you make don’t want to miss – I’m not kidding.
“It follows the ultimate legend Brad Pitt like you’ve never seen him before, surrounded by an incredible cast of absolutely explosive and off-kilter assassins who are connected but with conflicting agendas.
“You can’t help but love Brad Pitt. I mean, he’s the most handsome man alive, but he’s also a comic book genius.”
Aaron explained how the cast and crew of “Bullet Train,” which is based on a novel by Japanese author Kotaro Isaka, were “100% committed to the cinematic experience,” with production taking place in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron actor said, “We were making this movie at the height of the pandemic (so) we have high hopes that it will one day be seen on the big screen, as it should be. .”
Aaron also stars as Spider-Man’s nemesis Kraven the Hunter in the new movie of the same name and revealed he finds the character particularly interesting because he doesn’t have many superpowers.
The star said: “He’s just a hunter, a human with conviction. An animal lover and protector of the natural world. He’s a very, very cool character.”
