The villains will feature a star-studded lineup of voices including Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, Marc Maron as Mr. Snake, Craig Robinson as Mr. Shark, Anthony Ramos as Mr. Piranha and Awkwafina as Mrs. Tarantula. Joining them are Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh and Alex Borstein.

“In DreamWorks Animation’s new action-comedy, a team of outlaw animal crackerjack criminals are about to attempt their toughest con to date: becoming model citizens,” reads the synopsis. “Never have there been five friends as infamous as The Bad Guys – dashing pickpocket Mr. Wolf, driller who has seen it all Mr. Snake, master of cold disguise Mr. Shark, short-fuse ‘muscle’ Mr. Piranha, and sharp-tongued expert hacker Ms. Tarantula aka “Webs. But when, after years of countless heists and being the world’s most wanted bad guys, the gang is finally caught, Mr. Wolf negotiates a deal (which he has no intention of keeping) to save them all from prison: the bad guys will be fine.

“Under the tutelage of their mentor, Professor Marmalade, an arrogant (but lovable!) guinea pig, the villains set out to trick the world into telling them they had been turned. Along the way, however, Mr. Wolf begins to suspect that doing good for real can give him what he’s always secretly desired: acceptance. So when a new villain threatens the town, can Mr. Wolf persuade the rest of the gang to become… The Good Guys?
