Channing Tatum’s Buddy Comedy Film Dog Unveils First Music Video
MGM has released the first clip of Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin’s upcoming comedy film Dogwhich hits theaters on February 18. Its current theatrical release will pit the film directly against high-profile competition in the form of the action-adventure film directed by Sony Pictures’ Tom Holland. Unexplored.
The video, which you can watch below, features Tatum’s character as he tries to calm his furry companion, who is getting anxious in his cage.

The film is co-directed by Reid Carolin and Channing Tatum from a screenplay written by Carolin, based on her story with Brett Rodriguez. It stars Channing Tatum, Jane Adams, Kevin Nash, Q’orianka Kilcher, Ethan Suplee, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Nicole LaLiberté, Luke Forbes and Ronnie Gene Blevins.
“Dog is a buddy comedy that follows the misadventures of two former Army Rangers paired up against their will on the road trip of a lifetime,” the synopsis reads. “Army Ranger Briggs and Lulu (a Belgian Malinois dog) strap themselves into a 1984 Ford Bronco and race down the Pacific coast in hopes of making it to another soldier’s funeral in time. Along the way, they’ll drive themselves completely insane, break a handful of laws, narrowly escape death, and learn to let their guard down for a chance at happiness.
