Guru Randhawa to make acting debut with Hindi musical drama
Singer-songwriter Guru Randhawa is set to make his acting debut. The 29-year-old, who has so far featured in music videos, will be seen for the first time in a musical feature film in Hindi.
The story of the film revolves around a young musician’s tumultuous journey from the depths of anonymity to fortune and status.
Speaking about his acting debut, Guru Randhawa said, âI am very excited to explore new horizons and expand my abilities, as an artist I have always strived to discover myself to new and creative way. Working on this film was quite an instinctive decision and I am lucky to have this opportunity to show my background and my talent.

The still untitled film will be supported by Endemol Shine India.

While the rest of the cast is still in the making, the directors say the film will be a roller coaster ride peppered with lyrical music and foot pats.
