“Save the Wedding” is an awesome romantic film by filmmaker Jake Helgren on Hallmark. Digital Journal has the scoop.

In this film, a series of failures in the planning of the wedding raises the doubts of the bride. That’s when Bridesmaid Meg (Kasey Landoll) and Groomsman Tyler (Travis Burns) put their old differences aside to help restore the couple’s faith in love with a walk in the past.

Meg, an ambitious wedding planner, is thrilled to be the bridesmaid to her best friend Ellie (Chloe Wick), and she’s even more thrilled that she was able to plan the wedding. Meg and Tyler have hit their heads over the years.

Ellie then gets cold-eyed days before the wedding, so Meg and Tyler join forces to recreate milestone dates from their romance to rekindle the reasons they fell in love in the first place. Who knows, at this rate, Meg and Tyler may or may not have found their own romance along the way.

The verdict

Globally, Save the marriage is a strong and light film by Jake Helgren. Travis Burns triumphs as Tyler and Meredith Thomas is fabulous as Debbie. It will put a smile on the faces of the viewers. It gets four out of five stars.
