Suriya finishes filming her action drama film in Karaikudi; Director Pandiraj writes heartfelt note for actor
After 51 days of filming in Karaikudi, actor Suriya is wrapping up filming on his upcoming action drama film Etharkkum Thuninthavan. Directed by Pandiraj, the film was shot in Chennai, Madurai and Karaikudi. Relying on his social networks, the director announced the end of the film’s program. He wrote: “#EtharkkumThuninthavan #ET Completed 51 days of programming today. The sun and rain couldn’t stop our speed. What a hard working team. Amazing effort. Thank you @Suriya_offl mister @sunpictures @RathnaveluDop mister and everyone”
The directors had already released three posters of the film on the actor’s birthday. They also revealed a first video of the actor which made a lot of noise for the film. Etharkkum Thuninthavan promises Suriya an action-packed role and is presented as a village subject with a strong social message. The film also features Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role. Actor Satyaraj will also be featured in a central role. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is slated to hit theaters on December 24.
However, according to the latest reports, the film’s next program will begin the second week of September at ECR, Chennai. The film also marks the filmmaker’s first collaboration with Suriya. Meanwhile, Suriya has a movie line to release. His next one is with Vetrimaaran titled Vaadivasal, which is based on a popular Tamil novel of the same name. It’s the story of a bull and the one who captures it. Suriya will mostly learn bullfighting for the same. The actor is awaiting the release of Jai Bheem, which is slated for release in November this year on Amazon Prime Video.
