Trailer for Apple TV+ Comedy Animated Movie LUCK – GeekTyrant

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Skydance Animation’s upcoming comedy film Chance. The trailer introduces us to Bob the Cat, who introduces us to the land of luck and how everything works there.

The story centers on Sam Greenfield, “the world’s unluckiest person, who, when she stumbles into never-before-seen lucky land, sets out on a quest to bring luck back to her best friend. But humans aren’t allowed, so her only chance is to team up with the magical creatures that live there to do it.

The film‘s voice cast includes Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O’Donoghue, John Ratzenbergerand Spoon Adelynn.

The former head of Pixar Studios, John Lasseter, was hired by Skydance shortly after being fired from Pixar for alleged sexual harassment to head their animation department. The movie was made by Peggy Holmes and Cars writer, Kiel Murraywas brought in to write the screenplay.

Skydance Animation is also developing other films with the likes of the former Disney director Alain Menken, The iron giant director Brad Birdand The simpsons director Rich Moore.

Chance looks like the kind of movie kids will enjoy and it will be released on August 5, 2022.
